Opportunities: The following are opportunities we want you to be aware of in the community and in our church.
1) This summer, the Funeral Directors Life Insurance Company (FDLIC) will be starting a new internship program. This opportunity will appeal especially to those who are interested in business. If you would like more information or would like to see an application, email kendra.michelle03@yahoo.com
2) Pioneer's Pre-school Ministry is looking for college students who would be interested in helping with their security checkpoint systems. The responsibilities include signing in people and manning the doors. They will need people both up and downstairs during the 9am-10:45 and 10:30am-12 hour, so two places and two separate hours. If this is something you would be interested in, email Pam Click at psministry@pdbc.org
3) If you will be here this summer, one of our church members is looking for a college student to work for 4 months in his A/C warehouse. If you are interested, email Jamie Wright at jamie.wright@pdbc.org
4) If you're not busy the first weekend of Spring Break, there is an opportunity to work at a community-wide Dnow in Ruidoso, New Mexico. A van will leave Abilene on Friday morning, March 8. The Dnow ends on Sunday. The leaders will stay a few more days to hang out or ski and go back to Abilene on Wednesday. They need about 4 more college students as of right now, 2 guys and 2 girls. 14 total will be on the van. For more info, email Chris Weaver at chris@jbarjchurch.com
Thanks for taking a moment to read these opportunities, and if you know someone who would be interested, please feel free to pass these along.
Have a good week!
