You Could Call it a Blog Revamp

This past year for Pioneer College Ministry has been a year of change. Currently, we as a staff are looking forward to this coming fall when we can settle into what we have changed and turn our focus more towards our students.

We would like to inform you that another small change in how we do things will be in the way we use our blog. This blog has mostly been used for announcements in the last year. However, we strongly believe in the importance of stories, and we think it is important to tell and share the stories of our communities so that we may learn from each other and grow to appreciate each other more.

If you have a story you would like us to share on the blog, feel free to let us know. You can share what has been going on in your life and how you are growing or struggling, and if you have encouragement for people, you can share that too. We want to know. So, if you ever feel the urge to share, email Kendra Holt at kendra.michelle03@yahoo.com. :)

And now, for a couple of summer announcements:

1) College Bible Study is in the Allen Room at 10:30am on Sundays! Join us for teaching, fellowship, coffee, and donuts as we move through the book of Mark! This week we will discuss Mark 15:16-39.

2) Remember, there is no more Summer Home Team. However, keep an eye out for our semester Home Teams. They will be starting up shortly after school starts.

Have a great week!

New Beginnings

Happy First Week of School!

I hope you all had a great and restful break. Christmas break always seems to have gone by so fast when looking back on it. I want to encourage everyone as we start this new beginning of a new year and a new semester to re-center your focus. If you have not already made New Year's Resolutions, then think about what you want for your life this year. It's hard to make and stick with big changes we want to happen, but small steps are often easier and more conducive to making the right habits. Be realistic in making expectations of yourself, but be hopeful and willing to embrace change and improvement to the way you live and love. After all, we'll only live this particular year one time. Let's make it count towards something meaningful!

Announcements:

1) Home Teams (Small Groups) resume January 21st. Haven't been a part? Now's a good time to join! Click here for options http://ow.ly/gvV9k
